Improve voice navigation

TO DO

Enhance voice command feature for navigation

I love my Rivian, but navigation would be so much better with full voice control. Right now, I can do a few basics, but I still have to tap the screen to change routes or find places, which is distracting.

I’d like to be able to say things like “Navigate to 123 Main Street,” “Find the nearest Rivian charger,” “Avoid highways,” or “Add a stop at Trader Joe’s” without touching anything. It would also be great to ask “How far to my next charging stop?” or “What’s my ETA?” and get an immediate answer.

This would make trips safer and smoother, especially in unfamiliar areas, and would fit perfectly with Rivian’s innovative approach.

Thanks for the suggestion — we agree that stronger voice controls for navigation would improve safety and convenience. We’re exploring ways for Rivian Voice to handle full route management, charging stops, and points of interest entirely by voice.

Your examples are exactly the kind of natural commands we want to support. I’ve added this to our internal tracking so it’s considered as we plan future voice assistant updates.
